Capitol Materials has 22 conveniently located yards across the south including 5 in Alabama (Birmingham, Calera, Dothan, Madison, and Tuscaloosa), 11 in Georgia (Atlanta, Albany, Athens, Columbus, Cumming, Duluth, Gainesville, Macon, Marietta, Palmetto, and Capco), 3 in Florida (Milton, Panama City and Panama City Beach), 2 in Louisiana (Baton Rouge and LaPlace), and 1 in Mississippi (Ocean Springs). Teaming up with the top brands in the industry, we live by one simple pledge: getting the right products into our customers’ hands as quickly and safely as possible. Our History

Capitol Materials began in 1969 with one location in downtown Atlanta, intent on becoming the South’s most complete drywall supply company. Our vast product inventory, our focus on customer service, and our ability to maintain solid personal relationships with customers have been instrumental in achieving just that. Since then, we have grown to 22 yards located throughout Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

Our People

We have a dedicated, knowledgeable team of over 275 talented men and women – many of whom have been with us since our inception. Our experienced staff have encountered every possible jobsite condition during the thousands of jobs we have delivered.
